           Collaborate to Innovate,
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            and this message was captured throughout the day in the numerous panels, workshops and networking opportunities. 
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        
            The 2025 Forum was particularly special for Fusion, as we took on
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;a href="https://www.aeoforums.org.uk/sponsors-zah2" target="_blank"&gt;&#xD;
      
           sponsorship of the event

            In keeping with the theme of the day, there were
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

    &lt;a href="https://www.aeoforums.org.uk/programmes" target="_blank"&gt;&#xD;
      
           three busy streams
          &#xD;
    &lt;/a&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            across Marketing, Sales and Ops, all kicking off with social impact consultant from It Takes A Village Collective, Chloe Davies’, discussion on Breaking Barriers: The power of community-led innovation. She demonstrated how she’s embedded community values into every aspect of her career, sharing proven strategies on how to identify and break down misaligned goals and silos before they form. 
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
&lt;div data-rss-type="text"&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;strong&gt;&#xD;
      
           Steve Russell, Fusion’s Director, said:

            The event then split into its three streams of activity, with a wealth of knowledge spread across all three areas from

           numerous speakers
          &#xD;

           . We learnt how to unlock our creativity to drive innovation with Dave Hall, CEO of the Ideas Centre Group; gained insights into leveraging AI to optimise sales from Andrew Davis, Digital Consultant &amp;amp; Workshop Leader; and did a deep dive into data centricity, discovering how to get to the heart of the target audience with AJ Rajeswaran, Founder &amp;amp; CEO of CXDATA. 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      
           Each discussion was lively and packed with useful insights to take away, sparking more opportunities for networking and continued debate in the refreshment breaks afterwards.

    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

           When the decision to launch Care Show London was made, CloserStill Media drew on Fusion’s experience of helping to deliver the established Birmingham exhibition.
          &#xD;

  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;

           The Association of Event Organisers (AEO) is the trade body representing companies which conceive, create, develop or manage trade and consumer events. Run by its members for the benefit of its members, it has for over 100 years supported the events industry.

           The AEO Excellence Awards is their flagship event, representing the best that the events industry has to offer, showcasing the amazing achievements within the industry over the past 12 months.

           That’s a lot of events, a vast number of people and a significant amount of money.  Making all of this possible demands’ considerable skill, experience, planning, support, and technology. The AEO Awards acknowledge all the elements that contribute to the sector's success.           &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;

           The background:
           &#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/h2&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      
           The IET, an organisation that seeks to inspire, inform, and influence the global engineering community to engineer a better world, has existed since 2006 after the merging of the Institution of Electrical Engineers and the Institution of Incorporated Engineers.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Now, with a worldwide membership of around 160,000 people across 153 countries, the IET has a global reach – and a growing global events programme that needs managing throughout the year.
           &#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      
           The IET uses Fusion to deliver event support at ECOC and CIRED, two large-scale conferences and exhibitions it organises. However, the IET also organises smaller events where the scale of support Fusion delivers isn’t required. 
           &#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      
           Desiring to tap into Fusion's expertise for smaller events, the IET signed up for Fusion’s new product, Fusion2Go. This pared-down exhibition registration solution includes Fusion's proprietary events software but excludes the physical deployment of their team.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
&lt;div data-rss-type="text"&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           “For ECOC and CIRED, we need Fusion’s large screens and team of people on the ground. But for events that welcome 100 – 200 people, we don’t. I was interested in Fusion’s technology that underpins large-scale events, but I wanted to replicate it across smaller events. Essentially, I wanted a pick-and-mix approach that enabled me to select the aspects of Fusion we could manage ourselves.”
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;

           The project:

  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           In February 2024, the IET became the first organisation to employ Fusion’s self-managed event registration product.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           While badging can be frustrating, Fusion2Go makes it seamless. The entire setup, including laptops and printers, is delivered to the IET offices, and a member of the Fusion team trains the IET team on-site.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Now, using Fusion2Go, the IET can manage the entire badging process for events welcoming up to 400 people. 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           There are already eight UK events in the pipeline that will adopt this approach. And, with plans to increase its presence across Europe, the IET is set to roll out this cost-effective approach worldwide.

  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;

            Improved the layout of its registration desk at smaller events by removing the clutter and time associated with managing pre-printed badges by delivering ‘badging on demand’.

  &lt;/ul&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;

            Accessed Fusion’s technology for smaller events without committing to the full package typically required for large-scale events.

           After more than 10 years with Fusion (previously Circdata) our key account manager Sabina Komosa received national recognition after being selected as one of only three UK finalists for the Best Account Manager category in the EN Supplier Awards.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
            
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;

    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           The EN Supplier Awards is run by Exhibition News – the only publication dedicated to the UK exhibition industry. The 2023 awards ceremony, which was held at Epsom Downs Racecourse towards the end of summer, saw over 70 hopeful finalists all vying for a national award across 16 categories.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
            
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Shortlisted for her commitment to delivering client satisfaction, her team collaboration skills and a longstanding history of demonstrating high levels of customer service, Sabina was up for the award alongside two other companies including Immersive AV and Motive Exhibitions.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
            
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           On making it to the final awards ceremony, Sabina comments: “Attending the national awards ceremony was a wonderful experience and I’m delighted to have made it that far. Whilst I didn’t quite collect the award, it’s great to have been recognised for my contribution towards the events industry. I love my job and really enjoy seeing the whole process take shape. It’s also really rewarding when everyone’s happy and the event is a success. I never tire of that.”
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
            
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           A number of achievements were highlighted as part of Sabina’s shortlisting. These included how she supported the growth of CloserStill Media’s account, which has more than doubled over the years that she has been working with them. Additionally, after recommending Fusion technology to Revolution Events, the business incorporated it within all their events throughout 2023.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;

    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;

           On what lies in store for 2024, Sabina adds: “It’s an exciting time for Fusion, particularly as we’re now part of ClearCourse Membership Services. I expect this year to be bigger, better and busie as we increase our UK presence with the additional support of ClearCourse. As the US events landscape continues to open up, I also foresee much more on-site support at some of the big events that are scheduled to take place over the next 12 months.”
